Find out more

Te Hiringa Hauora is seeking a partner organisation to manage the Like Minds social action grants. These grants will be given to individuals and community organisations proposing innovative approaches to reduce prejudice and discrimination against people with severe mental distress.

The new vision for Like Minds is a nation where all people uphold the mana and human rights of people who experience mental distress. The social action grants will contribute to this vision by supporting one-off individual and community creative and advocacy projects to reduce prejudice and discrimination.

We are seeking an organisation with a proven track record in successfully managing grants.

Our partner must be either a Māori organisation or, if they are a non-Māori organisation, have a Māori-led team who will deliver the work. Our partner will also employ lived experience staff to deliver the work.

Te Hiringa Hauora would prefer to award the contract to just one organisation that has national reach.
